Celebrating global and cultural awareness from our rural perspective

The world has become multi-lingual and multicultural, even here in rural Washington State.

We celebrate that trend with programs that prepare students and their families to thrive in a complex and rapidly expanding global environment that welcomes educated and motivated young people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.

  • The cultural traditions here support a strong work ethic, deep connections to family and community, and adherence to a sustainable agricultural lifestyle.
  • Traditionally home to indigenous people and generations of white farming families, Eastern Washington, now includes immigrants from South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
